Mandatory Remembrance Day Activities

Poppy Campaign: As every year, we will be assisting our local sponsor, Branch 120 Royal Canadian Legion with their annual poppy campaign. There are three shifts, and it is expected that all cadets will do a minimum of two shifts, unless previously discussed with the CO (This email address is being protected from spambots. Shifts:
1) 1700-2000 Friday 4 Nov
2) 0845-1200 Saturday 5 Nov
3) 1300-1600 Saturday 5 Nov

For those cadets doing both shifts on Saturday, lunch will be provided at the Legion.

Notes:
- Cadets are to arrive 15-20 minutes before their shift.
- Cadets are to wear Full uniform and bring their parka. Check the weather forecast ahead of time, and wear appropriate under layers as required.
- Cadets are to be dropped off and picked up at Branch 120 Legion, 127 Mill Street, Georgetown ON.

Remembrance Day Parades and Ceremonies: As usual, we will march in the two Remembrance Parades on Sunday Nov 6. These are mandatory unless you spoken with the CO beforehand.

Timings:
1) Cadets to arrive at 1130 at the Glen Williams Public School for the first parade and ceremony.
2) After the ceremony parents are to pick up their cadets.
3) Cadets to arrive at 1330 at the Branch 120 Legion for the second parade and ceremony.

Notes:
- Lunch is provided for the cadets at the Legion between the parades.
- Refreshments will be provided at the Legion afterwards for all.
- Cadets are to wear Full uniform and bring their parka. Check the weather forecast ahead of time, and wear appropriate under layers as required.

All of the above activities count towards your Community Service Hours.
