756 Wild Goose Royal Canadian Air Cadets          "The Sky Is Our Home"

1. Mess Dinner: The squadron annual Mess Dinner will be held on Wednesday 11 December 2024 from 1830 to 2130hrs (6:30 - 9:30pm) at The Club at North Halton (363 Maple Ave W, Georgetown). The deadline for signup has passed, and the list of cadets who have registered to attend has been posted to the closed squadron Facebook page. 

Please note: 

  • Cadets who are attending must complete a parental consent form and hand it in to Capt Siekierko NLT (no later than) Monday December 9th. This can be found on the squadron closed Facebook page, as well as Teams. 

  • Dress is full uniform with white shirt and bow tieor white shirt/black bow tie, pants and shoes (if uniform has not been issued).

2. Christmas Concert (BAND): A reminder that cadets in band are to be at Georgetown Marketplace on 14 Dec 2024 from 11:30 - 13:00hrs for the Christmas Concert. Dress for the event is C1. 

3. Legion Breakfast: The Legion Branch 120 will be having their Ladies Auxilliary Breakfast on 14 Dec 2024. Cadets who have signed up as volunteers must attend from 0800 - 1200hrs. Dress for the event is civillian attire with a squadron T-Shirt. A list of cadets who have signed up for the event will be posted to the squadron closed facebook page, as well as to Teams. This activity is restricted to Level three cadets and above, and volunteer hours apply. 

4. Range Team: Range practice will be held on Sundays from 18:00 – 21:00 (6:00 – 9:00pm) at the squadron headquarters (CJRB Armory 91 Todd Road Georgetown). Dress is comfortable civilian attire. 5. Drill Team: Thursdays from 1800 to 1930 hrs (6:00 PM to 7:30 PM) at St George's Anglican Church (60 Guelph St. Georgetown). Dress is comfortable civilian attire but bring your boots and wedge. This activity is open to all cadets and an EXCELLENT opportunity to polish your drill skills! Contact Capt Siekierko (This email address is being protected from spambots. 6. Band: Thursdays from 1930 to 2100 hrs (7:30 PM to 9:00) at St George's Anglican Church (60 Guelph St. Georgetown). If you can play an instrument and read sheet music, come on out. Dress is comfortable civilian attire. Contact Capt Laverty (This email address is being protected from spambots. 7. Absence Request Form: Please fill out the Absence Request Form beforehand, if you are going to be absent for any activities. This must be completed NLT (no later than) noon of a parade night, for us to update the absentee list. 8. CADET365: This is the primary online platform we use to communicate with Cadets, distribute files and paperwork, publish the Squadron Calendar, etc. All cadets MUST log into, and update your passwords, for Cadet365 if you have not done so. In addition, once signed into CADET365, all Cadets must complete the Cyber Awareness course ASAP. If you have lost the sign in info provided previously, contact Capt Palla (This email address is being protected from spambots.
