  1. Candlelight Vigil: This activity takes place on Thursday 9 May from 1830 to 2000 hrs (6:30pm – 8:00pm). Every year, the squadron supports the local Legion by attending a Candlelight Vigil at the Georgetown Cenotaph. This counts towards community service hours. Uniform is C1 (full uniform with medals) or black and whites if the cadet has not yet been issued a uniform. Meet at the parking lot at Edith and Mill St. in Georgetown.   1. Spring FTX: May 3rd to 5th 2024 held at Blackdown Cadet Training Center at CFB Borden. This is a multi-unit exercise with 197, 756 and 892 squadrons participating with over 200 cadets. Sign up is now closed. Kit list and parental consent forms are posted on teams for cadets to access using their Cadet365 account, and information pertaining to the Spring FTX was also posted and pinned at the top of the squadron Facebook page titled Op Air Force – Spring FTX
  1. Absence Request Form: Please fill out the Absence Request Form beforehand, if you are going to be absent for any activities. This must be completed NLT (no later than) noon of a parade night, for us to update the absentee list. If not, you may get a phone call regardless. CADET365: This is the primary online platform we use to communicate with Cadets, distribute files and paperwork, publish the Squadron Calendar, etc. All cadets MUST log into, and update your passwords, for Cadet365 if you have not done so.
