Next Parade Night – 28 April 2025

April 21, 2025, Squadron will be on stand-down. 

Next parade night is Monday 28 April 2025 at 1830 (6:30 PM) and will be a regular parade night. Dress is C3, you wear the highest order of dress that you have been issued.

All cadets should have a uniform. If you have not been issued a uniform then wear white dress shirt, black tie, black pants, and black shoes.

This is a mandatory night for all cadets. If you are unable to attend, you must submit an Absence Request (available to registered web site users only). The request must be sent by noon of a Parade night. 

• Consult the CJCR Orders of Dress if you have any questions on uniform and dress, including grooming (hair, beards, etc).
• Parents are encouraged to attend Closing Announcements in person at 2045 hrs (8:45 pm).

Weekly Announcements – 14 April 2025

1. Engine’s Class: Tuesdays from 1900 to 2100 hrs (7:00 PM to 9:00 PM) at the CJRB Armory (91 Todd Road Georgetown). Dress will be comfortable civilian attire. 2.  Drill Team: Thursdays from 1800 to 1930 hrs (6:00 PM to 7:30 PM) at St George's Anglican Church (60 Guelph St. Georgetown). Dress is comfortable civilian attire but bring your boots and wedge. This activity is open to all cadets and an EXCELLENT opportunity to polish your drill skills! Contact Capt Siekierko (This email address is being protected from spambots. 3. Band: Thursdays from 1930 to 2100 hrs (7:30 PM to 9:00) at St George's Anglican Church (60 Guelph St. Georgetown). If you can play an instrument and read sheet music, come on out. 4. Gliding Sign Up:  Spring Gliding, which will take place on Saturday 17 May 2025.  Space is limited to 15 cadets maximum.  Sign up deadline is 30 April 2025. https://forms.office.com/r/bJakA5DM5K Contact Capt Black (This email address is being protected from spambots. 5. Absence Request Form: Please fill out the Absence Request Form beforehand, if you are going to be absent for any activities. This must be completed NLT (no later than) noon of a parade night, for us to update the absentee list. If not, you may get a phone call regardless. 6. CADET365: This is the primary online platform we use to communicate with Cadets, distribute files and paperwork, publish the Squadron Calendar, etc. All cadets MUST log into, and update your passwords, for Cadet365 if you have not done so. In addition, once signed into CADET365, all Cadets must complete the Cyber Awareness course ASAP.
