756 Wild Goose Royal Canadian Air Cadets          "The Sky Is Our Home"

 
1. Poppy Campaign - this is a critical fundraising activity for our main Sponsor, Branch 120 Royal Canadian Legion, and count towards Community Service hours. Dress is Full Uniform with ribbons. Cadets without uniform are to wear white dress shirt, black tie, pants, shoes and socks.
 
There are three shifts and Cadets are expected to attend two of the three shifts. Lunch will be provided on Saturday for cadets doing both shifts. Mandatory participation required. If you are unable to participate contact the CO (This email address is being protected from spambots.   • Friday November 3, 2023 - 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm 
  • Saturday November 4, 2023 - 9:30 am to 12:00 pm
  • Saturday November 4, 2023 - 12:45 pm to 4:00 pm

2. Wearing of Uniform at School - You may wear your DEUs (blue uniform) for your school's Remebrance Day activities, however there are three simple rules to follow:
  • Emaill the CO in advance for permission (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.).
  • Wear civilian attire to school and then change into your full uniform.
  • Change out of your uniform after the activities and back into civilian attire to return home. Don't lose any parts of your uniform! 
 
3. Remembrance Day Parades - these are mandatory parades for all cadets (no sign up list) on Sunday 5 Nov, and count towards Community Service hours. Dress is Full Uniform with medals. Cadets without uniform are to wear white dress shirt, black tie, pants, shoes and socks.
  • First Parade is in Glen Williams at the Glen Williams School (512 Main St, Georgetown, ON) from 1000 to 1200 hrs (10:00 AM to 12:00 PM).
  • Second Parade is in Georgetown at the Branch 120 Legion (127 Mill St., Georgetown, ON) from 1300 to 1500 hrs (1:00 PM to 3:00 PM).

Lunch will be provided at the Branch 120 Legion, however parents will need to transport their cadets between the two locations. If you are unable to participate,  or have questions, contact the CO (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.).

4. In Person Ground School - NO GROUND SCHOOL ON 31 OCT due to Halloween. on Tuesdays from 1900 to 2100 hrs (7 PM to 9 PM) has now RELOCATED TO the CJRB Armoury (91 Todd Road). 5. Drill Team - on Thursdays from 1800 to 1930 hrs (6:00 PM to 7:30 PM) at St George's Anglican Church (60 Guelph St. Georgetown). Dress is comfortable civilian attire but bring your boots and wedge. This activity is open to all cadets and an EXCELLENT opportunity to polish your drill skill!Contact Capt Laverty (This email address is being protected from spambots. 6. Band - on Thursdays, from 1930 to 2100 hrs (7:30 PM to 9:00) at St George's Anglican Church (60 Guelph St. Georgetown). If you can play an instrument and read sheet music, come on out. Dress is comfortable civilian attire. Contact Capt Laverty (This email address is being protected from spambots. 7. Annual Validation Forms - Due for ALL returning cadets. Cadets that do not return their form by 30 October WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO ATTEND FURTHER ACTIVITIESContact Capt Palla (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) if you have questions.
 
8. Absence Request Form - Please fill out the Absence Request Form beforehand, if you are going to be absent for any activities. This must be completed NLT (no later than) noon of a parade night, for us to update the absentee list. 9. CADET365 - This is the primary online platform we use to communicate with Cadets, distribute files and paperwork, publish the Squadron Calendar, etc. All cadets MUST log into, and update your passwords, for Cadet365 if you have not done so. In addition, once signed into CADET365, all Cadets must complete the Cyber Awareness course ASAPIf you have lost the sign in info provided previously, contact Capt Palla (This email address is being protected from spambots.
